Here are some full spectrum WAV samples at 384k samples per second of popular UK bats. All were recorded with Peersonic equipment in varying conditions. Also some time expanded MP3 files are provided for the novice listener.
All feedback is of interest as I would like to make this page a useful free download and evaluation area. So your requests and suggestions are all welcome, I have a lot of recordings here so don't hesitate to ask!
All sounds are Peersonic recordings and open source, please use as you wish but please do not make commercial revenue directly from my free samples!

Note that the wav files are full spectrum (ultrasonic) bat sound for analysis. Please DOWNLOAD to analyse on your PC with Audacity or similar tools
Noctule
This is a strong signal and is a little bit too much clipped ( saturated) but it demonstrates both the Noctule as well as the issues with clipping signals that are rather strong. On my equipment the input gain can be reduced to avoid this. I am working on a BAT-AGC mic that will prevent this from ever happening again.
Soprano Pipistrelle
Here is a Soprano Pipistrelle, echo locating and catching prey.
Greater Horseshoe
The Horseshoe bats are very monotonic ( CF ) and high frequency.
Bechsteins
Not a piano, its a bat! Here is a peersonic reference.
Alcathoe
Not so widespread so I thought I would add this one.
MP3 : Time expanded by a factor of 20.
These samples are as above but time expanded for direct listening etc. You can play the MP3 audio here and/or download it for listening on your own device.
